From Passionable Fishing, our Japanese-language journal.

On 10 January 2022, we returned to Tsujishima before dusk. It had been a while since our last visit.

Nothing bit while it was still light. Once the sun had gone down, though, we had a feeding window of about 25 minutes.

The fish were splashing around at the surface, and it was not a situation in which we could select their size.

Twenty-three fish between the two of us. Only two were a good size.

Once it was dark, the bites stopped. The breakwater lights were no longer coming on either, so it became pitch-black. Without a torch, we would not have been able to see anything.

Time to go home. That was the evening.

Rods: I used the Yoihime Ten 610; my wife used the VARIVAS 610.

The fishing conditions and unlit breakwater describe this January 2022 visit.
