From Passionable Fishing, our Japanese-language journal.
A friend was full of praise for it, so I tested the Daiwa Legalis LT2000S-P (175 g)—the much-discussed reel costing under ¥10,000 at the time.
Its handling feels on a par with a high-end reel. But it feels as though there is no rotational inertia at all, which makes maintaining a constant, steady retrieve rather wearing for me.
I can understand why my friend likes it so much. He fishes mushing: a jighead fitted with natural worm bait.
For that style of fishing, I can see it feeling exceptionally good to use.
