From Passionable Fishing, our Japanese-language journal.
The Breaden 506 TS-tip is a very good titanium-tip rod in my view.
The slightly longer 606 titanium-tip model, on the other hand, handles more like a tubular-tip rod. If you ask me what the titanium tip brings to the 606, I find that harder to answer.
The very end of the tip is a little thick. Perhaps that was necessary for the rod’s overall balance, but I wonder whether it could have been made a little finer. I would expect that to improve sensitivity.
For now, I am thinking of testing it specifically with split rigs and plugs.
I used PE #0.06 this time. Next, I plan to try PE #0.1.
